The Giro Trans feature Easton's EC70 carbon composite sole which is light, stiff and offers low stack height to maintain the feeling of a direct connection to the pedals. Many modern shoes feature a 'bathtub' like sole design that your feet press up against at the edge, causing pressure and discomfort. The EC70 sole is designed to allow the upper to spill over the edge of the sole when the feet swell or you are riding out of the saddle, to increase the feeling of slipper-like comfort.

The upper of the Trans is made from a thin, supple and breathable microfibre that will mould to the shape of your foot over time, cradling your foot securely. A micro ratchet buckle and 2 D-ring straps are responsible for providing an adjustable closure. The mid-foot D-ring is offset to increase comfort, moving pressure away from the metatarsal bone and delivering a more even tension across the entire foot.

The impressive SuperNatural Fit Kit is included which allows you to customise the level of arch support that the footbed offers. Three different velcro inserts can be fitted to match the level of arch your feet have.
